External Affairs Department

The main aims and objectives of the Department

- Creation and promotion of the brand of  the KBTU,  strengthening of the KBTU image and the creation of favorable external environment for its successful corporate development.

- Identification and promotion of research, consulting and logistical capacity of KBTU.

- Establishing and strengthening long-term partnerships with companies

oil and gas and power complexes, financial institutions, international and other organizations.

- Coordination among KBTU departments in establishing and

developing external relations, in developing a common policy on relations with

the community.

The main functions of the Department

- Designing, planning and presentation for approval plans and programmes

of external relations of the KBTU departments

- Representation of KBTU in scientific, social and fashion events

- Assisting structural units in:

   - enhancing competitive advantages of the University on the educational services

 market

   - development of branding products of the KBTU

   - implementation of strategic plans for development of the University

- The coordination and control of structural units in:

   - search for partners for international projects related to

     attracting investment

   - establishing and strengthening external relationships with the University partners

   - organization of official events of the University

- Developing database of international agreements involving the KBTU and

monitoring their implementation

- Participation in the drafting of contracts, agreements, protocols and

KBTU memoranda of cooperation with organizations, institutions and others.

- Organization and planning the work of the KBTU Industry Advisory Board

- Participation in the development of new directions of  the University

Department Structure

- The Department is headed by a Director who is appointed and dismissed

by the order of the Rector

- The structure and the staff size of the Department is determined according to the university staff list approved in the established order
